Remote MCP Connectors

Connect your Obris expert to an AI platform via MCP (Model Context Protocol). Once connected, your team can talk to the expert through the AI tools they already use.

Connect your AI platform

Select your AI platform below to see the setup instructions.

Connect via the Claude web app using Connectors.

To allow Claude access to images and file attachments, add obris-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com to your Allowed Domains.

  1. Open Add custom connector ↗ and wait for the form to appear, then enter the following details:

    to auto-fill your expert MCP URL.

    Name
    Obris
    Remote MCP Server URL
    <your-expert-mcp-url>
  2. Click Add to save the connector
  3. Select the Obris connector and click Connect to sign in with your Obris account

Check the connection

Once connected, verify your expert is working by asking it a question. Try a prompt like:

What topics do I have in Obris?

Your expert should be able to list topics and the knowledge in them. If the connection is not working, try disconnecting and reconnecting from the Connectors page.

Obris tools are only available when the AI platform chooses to invoke them. If your expert does not pull from your Obris data, try mentioning Obris explicitly in your prompt - for example, "Using Obris, find my knowledge about..."
